Here in Breda Academy, we want all our pupils to develop a lifelong love and appreciation for reading, and what better time to start than during BOOK WEEK NI 2019!
During Book Week NI (14 – 20 October 2019) pupils will be taking part in numerous activities during their English lessons to help celebrate all things book and reading related, and we would love our parents to get involved too!
We want both pupils and parents to take our ‘READ FOR 15’ pledge, and read for 15 minutes at home each day during Book Week NI. What you choose to read is totally up to you; poetry, fiction, non-fiction, short stories, plays, comics, graphic novels, autobiographies, magazines, newspapers, online blogs, audiobooks… the list is endless!
